Lemon Blueberry Bread




*Ingredients:




°1/3 cup melted butter


°1 cup sugar


° 3 tablespoons lemon juice


°2 large eggs, room temperature


°1-1/2 cup all-purpose flour


° 1 teaspoon baking powder


° 1/2 teaspoon salt


°½ cup 2% milk


°1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries


°1/2 cup chopped nuts


° 2 tablespoons of grated lemon peel.


+ Glaze:


°2 teaspoons lemon juice


° 1/4 c sugar..

In a large bowl, whisk together butter, sugar, lemon juice, and eggs. Mix the flour with baking powder and salt; Add the egg mixture alternately with the milk, beating well after each addition. Add blueberries, nuts, and lemon peel.


Transfer to greased 8 x 4 inch. deprivation; Bake at 350 degrees for 60-70 minutes to cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to wire rack.


Combine the components of the glaze. Sprinkle over warm bread. totally cool..
